The Beginning of My Blog.

It is hard to believe that I will soon be taking off on a big trip to Japan. I've been busy getting things ready. At school, we've made over 1,000 paper origami cranes that I hope to deliver to a school in Japan. In library classes we've learned about Japan and read Japanese folktales. Mr. Singley has been helping me get this blog going and has helped me get better at working with digital photos. At home, I've been packing my suitcase and taking care of a million details. I've chosen some good books to take along with me to read while I'm in airports and flying for nine hours from San Francisco to Tokyo and on the two hour bus ride to our hotel. So, the countdown has begun and although I'll miss you all, I'm looking forward to a great adventure! Stay tuned!
